Duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitor the premises with diligence
  • Is alert at all times and take the necessary steps in case of unexpected eventualities
  • In eventualities, validate and report to the teams concerned and take other necessary steps as per the guidelines
  • Keep a track of the team’s whereabouts at all times and ensure all areas are covered diligently

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduation in any discipline
  • Keen observer and quick on his/her feet
  • Basic knowledge of working with electronics and computer
  • Is able to communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Is able to work in collaboration with other teams for closures
  • Has an eye to notice even minutest of eventualities and respond appropriately on time always

Working conditions:
The Monitoring Centre function operates 24/7. The job requires a person to work in a 9 hours shift each day. The shifts will be rotational as per roster. The job will get intense at crisis; thus it demands managing stress and critical situations. The work expects patience, multitasking and focused approach.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Patrols a specific assigned area on motorized conveyance and responds promptly to calls for assistance
  • Ability to safely operate motor vehicles under emergency situations
  • Ability to analyze situations quickly and objectively to determine the proper course of action to be taken
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities
  • Conducts a thorough inspection of incidents within the area of assignment and scope of activity
  • Be alert to the development of conditions tending to cause crime or indicative of undesired activity. Informs the manager as soon as the situation permits and takes preventive action to correct such conditions
  • Be alert for all nuisances, impediments, obstructions, defects or other conditions that might endanger or hinder the safety and security of customers and the respective properties within the assigned beat
  • Handles situations and people to diffuse not to aggravate the circumstance
  • Ability to utilize self-defense techniques
  • Ability to work calmly under conditions of high stress and, physical and emotional fatigue
  • Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements and organizational policies

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preferably an NCC-C Certificate holder
  • Able to speak clearly and intelligently to individuals, small groups and large crowds
  • Communicates effectively with persons who are emotionally disturbed or seriously injured

Working conditions:The Response Officer will spend considerable time on their feet, either assigned to a specific post or patrolling buildings and grounds. They also may be stationed inside a vehicle at their designated area and use a portable radio or cellular telephone that allows them to be in constant contact with a central station. The work usually is routine, but officers must be constantly alert for threats to themselves and the properties they are protecting. Officers who work during the day may have a great deal of contact with other employees and members of the public.
Officers usually work at least 12-hour shifts every week and often are on call in case an emergency arises. Shifts rotate to equally divide daytime, weekend, and holiday work. Officers usually eat on the job instead of taking a regular break away from the site.

Physical requirements:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to:
  • Walk or stand, sometimes for long periods of time, in adverse weather conditions
  • Run, sometimes at a high rate of speed for a short distance, over unsafe areas or in adverse weather conditions
  • Push, pull, drag or carry objects or persons
  • Sit for extended periods of time
  • Maintain mental alertness and a readiness to act, even during periods of calm and inactivity
  • Endure and withstand exposure to verbal, mental and physical abuse; responding only in a professional, legal and procedurally acceptable manner
